This large-scale roofing replacement covered 14,000m² and required precise planning with phased execution. The project began with the safe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing cement sheeting by trained operatives in full compliance with regulations. New Kingspan roofing products were then installed, including flashings, rooflights, membrane-lined insulated gutters, a siphonic drainage system, and fixed perimeter handrails.
The primary challenge was completing this extensive refurbishment above a live, operational factory, demanding meticulous sequencing and stringent safety protocols to ensure uninterrupted production below.
Despite these complexities, JC Services completed the project on time and within budget, delivering the quality and durability that define our work.
